Rayne- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Edward Joseph Senegal, Sr., 63, at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Rayne, LA with Rev. Richard Wagner as Celebrant. Visitation will begin in the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM and will resume on Saturday, at 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM. Interment will follow the church service and will be in Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Cemetery in Rayne, LA. Mr. Senegal passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019.
Mr. Senegal is survived by his wife, Leona C. Senegal of Beaumont, TX; companion, Joanna Morris of Crowley, LA; children: LaQuinta (Micheal) Fontenot of Crowley, LA, Edward (Kalisia) Senegal, Jr. of Rayne, LA, Kizzelyn (Carlton) Senegal of Jennings, LA, Michelle (Troy ,Sr.) Stelly of Beaumont,TX, Michael Citizen of Rayne, LA; God daughter (more like a daughter) Antoinetta Cormier of Rayne, LA; step-children: Tracy Morris of Rayne, LA, Godfrey Morris of Crowley, LA, Diane Morris, and Monique Morris both of Baton Rouge, LA; three brothers: Felton Booze , Larry Sinegal and Issac Sinegal all of Rayne, LA; a host of grand children; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Paul Clifton and Lucille Senegal; step-son, Prince Morris; mother-in-law, Willie Mae Morris, and in-laws, Leo and Movella Clark, Sr.
