Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at The Good Shepherd Deliverance Revival Center in Branch for Shirley Ann Briscoe, 57, who passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 1:55 P.M. at the University Hospital and Clinics in Lafayette.
Pastor Lucille Moore, Pastor of The Good Shepherd Deliverance Revival Center will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church New Cemetery in Church Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 8:00 A.M. until time of services all at The Good Shepherd Deliverance Revival Center in Branch.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony “Bris” Briscoe of Church Point; four sons, Joseph and wife, Courtney Monroe of Houston, TX, Marshall and wife, Christiner Monroe of Eunice, Josh and wife, Tieaira Monroe of Church Point, Deion and wife, Ashlee Monroe of Church Point; four sisters, Mary Ann Guidry, Mattie Belle Citizen, and Eva Freeman all of Church Point; Edna Savoy of Sunset; four brothers, Anthony Monroe of Crowley, Donald Monroe of Houston, TX, Patrick Monroe of Branch, Joseph Monroe of Richard; fifteen grandchildren.
Mrs. Briscoe was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Theresa B. Monroe; two brothers, Patrick Vallier and Billy Monroe; four sisters, Mary Stelly, Jo Ann Nunn, Liz Monroe and Dora Mae Clark.
