Crowley- Funeral Services will be held for Bertha “Pie” Hoffpauir Coleman, 88, at 4:00 PM on Saturday, May `11, 2019 at Forest Park Church of Christ with Minister Jason Corder officiating. Visitation will begin in the Duhon Funeral Home-Crowley Chapel at 9:00 AM on Saturday until just prior to service time. Interment will follow the church service and will be in Acadia Resthaven Cemetery in Crowley, LA. Mrs. Coleman passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019.
Mrs. Coleman has been dedicated to the Lord’s Service in the Crowley-Roberts Cove area since the 1940’s. She was very active in her church, including teaching Sunday School, working with children and enjoyed the presence of family and friends, always being the “perfect hostess”.
She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Coleman Bourque and her husband, Brian of Lafayette, LA; one son, Jerry Lee Coleman of Crowley, LA; three grandchildren, Brandon Bourque and his wife, Carrie of McKinney, TX; Bridgette Bourque Prudhomme and her husband, Michael Prudhomme, II of Carencro, LA and Brooklyn Bourque Woods and her husband, Lyle “Skip” Woods of Lafayette, LA and twelve great grandchildren, Ali, Grace and Anna Bourque; Vegas, Phoenix, Billi-Jo, Journey and Bravery Woods; Lexi, Jesse, Connor, and Alice Prudhomme; one great-great granddaughter, Olive Migues; two sisters, Ruby Hoffpauir Spell and Betty Hoffpauir Stuckey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Coleman; father, Samuel Hoffpauir; mother, Nedia LeBlanc Hoffpauir Coleman and step-father, Louis Coleman.
Pallbearers will be Mike Prudhomme, Samuel Stuckey, Robert Terro, Brodie Mouton, Mackay Mouton and Chris Cole.
