Rayne- A Liturgy of the Word Service will be celebrated for Anatole Thibodeaux, 81, at 2:00 PM on Sunday , May 26, 2019 in the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel in Rayne, LA. Visitation will begin in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM, with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM and will resume on Sunday at 8:00 AM until just prior to the service time. Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery “New” in Rayne, LA. Mr. Thibodeaux passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Lafayette General Southwest Hospital in Lafayette, LA.
Mr. Thibodeaux is survived by his wife, Ella Mae Thibodeaux of Lafayette, LA; children, Johnny Thibodeaux of Lafayette, LA; grandchildren, Jeremy Thibodeaux and his wife, April of Mire, LA, Bradley Thibodeaux of Ferriday, LA; great grandchildren, Gabrielle and Gracie Thibodeaux of Mire, LA.
He was preceded in death by son, Emery Thibodeaux; parents, Sylvan Thibodeaux and Inez Rivette Thibodeaux; brother, Ashton Thibodeaux; sister, Amy Vincent; father-in-law, Octave Robert and mother-in-law, Elia Robert.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Thibodeaux, Jeremy Thibodeaux, Bradley Thibodeaux, Dylan Bertrand, Cruz Fetterman and Nicholas Thibodeaux.
