Crowley- Funeral Services will be held for Jerry L. Carey, 53, on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Duhon Funeral Home-Crowley Chapel with Pastor Zach McCann officiating. Visitation will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 11:00AM until 9:00 PM and will resume on Saturday at 8:00 AM until just prior to the service time. Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in the Old Crowley Cemetery in Crowley, LA. Mr. Carey passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley, LA.
Mr. Carey is survived by his sisters, Virginia Carey (Warren Hoffpauir) of Crowley, LA, Donna Carey Sonnier (Kevin Sonnier) of Crowley, LA; niece, Chelsea Hoffpauir of Crowley, LA; nephews, Blake Hoffpauir of Crowley, LA and Jacob Sonnier of Crowley, LA; great niece, Alaiya LaFosse of Crowley, LA and one great nephew, Camden LaFosse also of Crowley, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Donald Carey and Betty and Lawrence Matthews.
Pallbearers will be Warren Hoffpauir, Blake Hoffpauir, Kevin Sonnier, Jacob Sonnier, Robert LaFosse and Kirk Bertrand.
