Obituary for Jo Anne Abshire (Hebert)
Crowley- Funeral Services will be held for Jo Anne H. Abshire, 66, at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 in the Duhon Funeral Home, LLC- Crowley, LA with Brother Gerard Morgan officiating. Visitation will begin on Monday, July 22, 2019 in the Duhon Funeral Home-Crowley Chapel from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM, and will resume on Tuesday at 8:00 AM until just prior the time of service. Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in Abshire Cemetery in Kaplan, LA. Mrs. Abshire passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019 at her home in Crowley, LA.
Mrs. Abshire is survived by her son, Chris Abshire and his wife, Rebecca of Fairview, TN; grandchildren, Ashley Simon of Lebanon, TN, Tyler Abshire of Bridge City, TX, Dylan Moran and his wife, Millie of Fairview, TN, Alyssa Abshire of Fairview, TN and Cayden Abshire of Fairview, TN; great-grandchildren, Lexie Moran, Linzey Moran, Lilly Moran and Zhavia Rose Abshire; sisters, Lucy Kibodeaux and her husband, Glenn of Crowley, LA, Priscilla Soileau and her husband, Calvin of Lake Charles, LA; brother, Larry Hebert and his wife, Charlene of Crowley, LA and an abundance of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irving Abshire; parents, Ervin and Lucy Hebert; and one brother, Mervin Hebert.
Pallbearers will Cayden Abshire, Dylan Moran, Ivy “Kojak” Abshire, Tim Welch, Zach Pastor and Billy Gary. Honorary pallbearers will be Shannon Jeffers and Phillip Meaux.
