Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Dale P. Thibodeaux, 68, who passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 6:45 A.M. in Church Point.
Père Rozas will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church New Cemetery in Church Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 4:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited on Friday at 7 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Saturday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include his wife of forty seven years, Diane C. Thibodeaux of Church Point; two daughters, Angele and husband, Michael Miller of Church Point, and Kimberly and husband, Matthew Bellard of Port Barre; one sister, Linda Leung of Katy, TX; five grandchildren, Cote, Devon, and Luke Bellard, Caleb and Chance D’Heilly.
Mr. Thibodeaux served his country in the United States Navy for four years. He was the owner of Dale’s Repair Shop in Church Point for twenty five years.
Mr. Thibodeaux was preceded in death by one grandson, Christian D’Heilly; his parents, Leland and Anita V. Thibodeaux; two brothers, Larry and Keith Thibodeaux.
