Obituary for Winnie Ann Riley
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Michael Catholic Church in Crowley for Winnie Ann D. Riley, 67, who passed away at her home in Jackson, La on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 5:00 A.M.
Fr. Brent Smith from St. Michael Catholic Church will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in the Istre Cemetery in Morse.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 7 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 9:30 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include one daughter, Dacey Coleman of Myrtle Beach, SC; one son, Jonathan and wife, Taylor Riley of DeRidder; two sisters, Celeste and husband, Johnny Dedon of Jackson, LA., Colette Kibodeaux of Dublin, VA; one brother, Gerald Paul and wife, Lorraine Duhon of Conroe, TX.
Mrs. Riley was preceded in death by her parents, Gary Joseph Duhon and Donner Trahan Duhon; two brothers, Dennis Ray Duhon and Dwayne Joseph Duhon.
Mrs. Riley was a lifelong resident of Morse and was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Crowley La. She furthered her education by attending McNeese State University and Old Miss University. She was a professor of Accounting at Florence-Darlington Technical College.
