Obituary for Geraldine Marie Hollier
Rayne- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Geraldine M. Hollier, 80, at 11:00 on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne LA with Rev. Kevin Bordelon as Celebrant. Visitation in the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel will begin on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 10:00 AM, with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM, until 9:00 PM and will resume on Saturday at 8:00 AM until just prior to the service time. Entombment will follow the church service and will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery New in Rayne, LA. Ms. Hollier passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2019.
Ms. Hollier is survived by her children, Priscilla Dupuis and her husband, Eugene of Rayne, LA, June Olivier of Estherwood, LA, Sammy Hollier and his wife, Paula of Rayne, LA, Dusty Hollier, Sr. and his wife, Swen of Duson, LA and Michelle Hollier Guidry of Estherwood, LA; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; two great – great grandchildren; six brothers and one sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Freddie Hollier and Angelina Doucet Hollier; two sisters, Shirley Dronnet and Connie Matthews; three brothers, Ivy Hollier, Joseph Hollier and Harry Hollier; one grandson, Shaun Paul Dupuis; her husband, Lurlin “Joe” LeJeune and son-in-law, John Dale Olivier.
Pallbearers will be Chevy Dupuis, Stoney Dupuis, Ski Dupuis, Dusty Hollier, Jr., Deion Hollier, Kaine Smith, Christopher Gass and Blaceson Gass.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Hollier, Sammy Hollier, Dusty Hollier, Sr., Karl Guidry, Jr. and David Gass.
