Obituary for Joseph Thibodeaux
Rayne- A Liturgy of the Word Service will be celebrated for Joseph Thibodeaux, 77, at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 21, 2019 in the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel with Deacon Denis LaCroix officiating. Visitation will begin in the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel on Thursday at 9:00 AM, with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:00 AM and will continue until just prior to the time of service. Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery “New” in Rayne, LA. Mr. Thibodeaux passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019 at Capitol Oaks Nursing and Rehab Center in Baton Rouge, LA.
Mr. Thibodeaux is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dolores Perrodin of Greenwell Springs, LA; children, Sandra Holmes of Greenwell Springs, LA, Kim Foreman and her husband, Halic of Baton Rouge, LA, Frank Joseph Thibodeaux of Baton Rouge, LA, Darren Thibodeaux and his wife, Emily of Maurice, LA; grandchildren, Brad Palma, Derek Foreman, Cody Thibodeaux, Damian Foreman, Tyler Thibodeaux, Meggan Thibodeaux and Tiffany Mar as well as ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francois Thibodeaux and Pamela Holloway Thibodeaux and three sisters, Helen Thibodeaux, Barbara Leger and Anna Lois Broussard.
Pallbearers will be Derek Foreman, Damian Foreman, Cody Thibodeaux, Tyler Thibodeaux, Ivan Mar and Russell Broussard, Jr.
