Obituary for Howard Joseph Credeur Jr.
Rayne- A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Howard J. Credeur, Jr., 64, at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Mire, LA with Rev. Mike Arnaud as Celebrant. Visitation will be held in the Duhon Funeral Home-Rayne Chapel on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 beginning at 10:00 AM, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM and will resume on Thursday at 8:00 AM until just prior to the service time. Interment will be in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Cemetery following the Mass. Mr. Credeur passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019.
Mr. Credeur is survived by his children’s mother, Debbie Mire of Breaux Bridge, LA; children, Miranda Rios and her husband, Bruce of Cypress, TX, Jeremy Credeur and his wife, Ashlie of Mire, LA and Richard “Pop” Credeur of Mire, LA; grandchildren, Layne, Abbie, Madison, Weston and Juliette; siblings, Carroll Credeur and his wife, Pat, Ricky Credeur and his wife, Ramona, Ranno Credeur and his wife, Melissa, Mary Wingate and her husband, Mike, Wade Credeur and his girlfriend, Sue.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard, Sr. and Mildred Credeur; two brothers, Gerald Credeur, Patrick Credeur; one sister, Mildred Credeur; grandchildren, Elijah and Trinity; paternal grandparents, Jack and Alice Credeur; maternal grandparents, Birchman and Lawrence Venable.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Credeur, Pop Credeur, Dustin Credeur, Layne Babin, Wade Credeur and Bruce Rios. Honorary pallbearers will be Carroll Credeur, Ricky Credeur, Ranno Credeur and Mary Wingate.
