Obituary for Toby Cole "Spud" Smith
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Toby “Spud” Smith, 20, who passed away at his home in Crowley on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 4:35 A.M.
Pastor Berl Adams, Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in the Old Crowley Cemetery in Crowley.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Monday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include his mother, Becky Smith of Crowley; his father, Kerry Comeaux of Breaux Bridge; three sisters, Cassandra and husband, Cody Powell of Crowley, Chelsea Smith of Crowley and Courtney Reiners of Crowley; four step sisters, Kortny Gatte of Iota, Khylee Gatte of Iota, Britny Gatte of Iota and Harli Comeaux of Breaux Bridge; one step brother, Jantz Gatte of Iota; his maternal grandparents, Howard and Betty Smith of Crowley; his paternal grandmother, Eula Mae Comeaux of Lafayette; his Godchild, Riley Romero; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Toby was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Frank Comeaux.
