Obituary for Mildred Mier
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 3:30 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Mildred G. Mier, 76, who passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 10:53 A.M. at Camelot Place in Rayne.
Deacon Dennis LaCroix from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Mausoleum New Cemetery in Rayne.
The family has requested the visitation to be held Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 9:00 A.M. until time of services all in the Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth Benoit and her husband, Joe of Scott; two brothers, James and wife, Gussie Guidry of Rayne, and Wallace Guidry, Jr. of Rayne; one half brother, Paul and wife, Karen Guidry of Deer Park, TX; one sister, Janelle and husband, Earl J. Meche of Maurice; several nieces and nephews.
Ms. Mier was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Mier; one son, Glenn Mier; her parents, Wallace P. Guidry, Sr. and Lena Terro Guidry and one sister-in-law, Viola Guidry.
