Obituary for LeBertha Marie Savoy (Miller)
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Edmund Catholic Church in Branch for LeBertha M. Savoy, 83, who passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 5:10 A.M. at Acadia St. Landry Guest Home in Church Point.
Fr. Broussard, Pastor of St. Edmund Catholic Church in Branch will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in the St. Edmund Catholic Church Cemetery in Branch.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. until 8:30 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include two sons, Donald and wife, Patricia of Church Point, Gabriel and wife, Monica of Duson; three daughters, Patricia and husband, Wesley Doucet of Crowley, Leatrice and husband, Robert Jardell of Lyons Point, Barbara and husband, Carol Lonson of Crowley; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Ms. Savoy was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Savoy; one son, Robert J. Savoy; one great-grandson, Hayden Miller; one sister, Jane Primeaux; two brothers, Bert and James Miller.
