Obituary for Angela Marie Sellers (LeJeune)
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. at St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard for Angela LeJeune Sellers, 56, who passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 7:56 A.M. at her home in Rayne, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Fr. Hampton Davis, Pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Eunice will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in the St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 9:00 A.M. until time of services. A Rosary will be recited on Monday at 2:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne.
Survivors include her husband, Sam J. Sellers of Rayne; four daughters, McKenzie and husband, Nathan Taylor of Branch, Alexis Roy of Rayne, Brandi and husband, Colby Smith of Rayne and Kennedy and Jake Morvant of Church Point; one son, Chance and wife, Chelsea Roy of Lafayette; two step sons, Bryan and wife, Jilian Sellers of Youngsville and Matthew and wife, Kylie Sellers of Youngsville; one step daughter, Nicole M. Sellers of Lafayette; her mother, Valerie H. LeJeune of Richard; four sisters, Dianne and husband, Brian Heinen, Jr. of Eunice, Delores and husband, Jessie Lennon of Orlando, FL, Janet and husband, Chester Miller of Richard and Terry and husband, Judson Venezia of Eunice; two brothers, Gregory LeJeune of Richard and Tyler and wife, Marilyn LeJeune of Richard; thirteen grandchildren, Sarah, Luke, Zane, Layton, Madelyn, Sawyer, Christian, Athen, Amielle, Emile, Azelie, Noah, and Addie.
Mrs. Sellers was preceded in death by her father, Nelson LeJeune;
Angela lived her life loving her husband, children, and grandchildren so deeply. Her happiest of days were spent with family. She touched many people with her smile, her strength, and generosity. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
