Rayne- A Memorial Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at a later date for Bobby Joseph Sisk, 52, who passed away on March 7, 2020 at his home in Rayne, LA.
Mr. Sisk is survived by his wife, Josette Thobodeaux Sisk; daughters, Chelsie Sisk Cormier and her husband, Jordan, Brittany Thibodeaux and Addison Thibodeaux; sons, Nicholas Rollins, Tony Sisk and his wife, Crystal; father, Roger Sisk and his wife, Juanita; brother, Lee Sisk and his wife, Londa; sister, Rebecca Bacas and her husband, Alan; grandchildren, Landyn LaRive, Jordan LaRive, Autumn Cormier, Abagail Sisk, Mackenzie Sisk, Taylor Sisk, Tony Sisk and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by mother, Lucy Romero Sisk; maternal grandmother, Inez Reaux Romero; maternal grandfather, Lastie Romero; uncle, Serving Romero; cousin, Gary Romero; niece, Lilly Higginbotham; sister-in-law, Collette Sisk and in-laws, Oday and Janell Thibodeaux
Bobby never knew a stranger, only friends he hadn’t met yet! He helped develop a Youth Program in Rayne, LA at the old YMCA Building, which is now East Side Boxing and was always willing to help anyone.
Among his Awards and Legacy are being a USA Boxing Official, Bowling Leagues, Co-Founder of Rayne East Side Boxing Club, Owner of Bobby Sisk Home Improvements, loved building things and he passes his Legacy of Carpentry and Design to his daughter, Chelsie Sisk Cormier.
