Obituary for Willa Mae Spell (Chiasson)
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Willa Spell, 84, who passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at 4:10 P.M. at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.
Deacon Dennis LaCroix of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in Istre Cemetery, Morse, LA.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 9:30 until time of services in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. A Rosary will be recited at 1:30 P.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis LeBlanc of Crowley, Cynthia and husband, Greg Arceneaux of Crowley; two sons, Charles LeBlanc, Jr. and Gerald LeBlanc both of Crowley; two sisters, Lynn Duggan Hundley and husband, Kelly of Crowley, Shirley Abshire of Gueydan; one brother, Leroy and wife, Joyce Chiasson of Pearland, TX; six grandchildren, Andrew LeBlanc, Jason LeBlanc, Justin LeBlanc, Tylor LeBlanc, Whitney Kidder and Kelsey Kidder; eight great-grandchildren, Alyssia, Grayson, Chloe, Brycelon, Brentlon, Gabriel, Kaleb, Mallory; two great-great-grandsons, Jacob and Rhett.
Ms. Spell was preceded in death by her husband, Harry D. Spell; one daughter, Stephanie Kidder; her parents, Whitney and Olidia Chiasson; two brothers, Daniel and Michael Chiasson.
