Obituary for Stevey Ray Jones
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2020 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne, LA for Stevey Ray Jones, 48, who passed away Wednesday June 24, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
Mr. Jones was a resident of Lafayette, LA and was born December 18, 1971 to the late Mary Guidry Jones and Jerry Jones, both of Jennings, LA. He worked most of his life as a chemical technician.
Pastor Rena Lewis will officiate the funeral service and the committal at Our lady Perpetual Help Catholic Cemetery in Jennings, LA. Visitation may be observed Friday, July 3, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at The Duhon Funeral Home in Rayne, LA.
He is survived by his loving wife, Madeline Citizen Jones of Lafayette, LA. He was a proud father of daughters: Isis D. Jones and Jayla A. Dugar and one son, Stephen C. Jones; a sister Coretta Jones of Opelousas, LA and one aunt , Joyce Jones and one uncle Anthony Guidry both of Jennings, LA.
