Obituary for Francis Allen Leger
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2020 in the Duhon Funeral home chapel for Francis Allen Leger, 86, who died at 12;38 A.M. Thursday, July 16, 2020 in Kaplan, LA.
Rev. Todd Finley, Pastor of Abundant Life Assembly of God in Rayne, LA will conduct the funeral service and the burial will follow in the Estherwood Cemetery. Visitation may be observed from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until service time at the Duhon Funeral home in Crowley, LA.
Mr. Francis was born Oct. 24, 1933 in Crowley, LA to the late Severin and Louisa Kibodeaux Leger. He worked most of his life as a service technician for J & J Exterminating.
He is survived by his son Byron Leger and his husband Dean Lane of Pearland, TX and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruby Leger; three sisters, Angela Hidalgo, Louisa Duhon and Lucille Bourque and five brothers, Julian Leger, Dennis Leger, Martin Leger, Paul leger and George Leger.
