Obituary for Annie Mae Stutes (Adams)
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Annie Mae Stutes, 81, who passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 1:10 P.M. at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.
Pastor Berl Adams, Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery in the Mausoleum in Crowley.
The family has requested visitation to be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 9:30 A.M. until time of services all in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel.
Survivors include three daughters, Debra Miller of Kaplan, Penelope “Penny” and husband, Sidney Badon of Gueydan, Cristie and husband, Johnny Cormier of Rayne; five sons, Mark and wife, Jackie Stutes of Crowley, Jeffery “Pee Wee” Stutes of Crowley, Gregory “Bozo” and wife, Juanita Stutes of Crowley, Kenneth “Monkey” Stutes of Crowley, and Lawrence “Baba” Stutes, Jr. of Titusville, FL; one sister, Shirley Dardar of Crowley; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
Ms. Stutes was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Stutes, Sr.; one grandson, Dwayne Dronet; one son-in-law, Joe Miller; her parents, Hypolite and Angela M. Adams; two sisters, Laura Adams and Theola Guillot; four brothers, Andrus, Milton, Percy and Antoine Adams.
