Graveside Services will be held on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church New Cemetery in Church Point for Rigoberto Reyes Paz, 64, who passed away on July 24, 2020 at 3:54 P.M. at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. Visitation will resume on Monday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include his wife, Petrona Virginia Mendoza Coto of Scott; three sons, Rigoalberto Reyes Carranza and wife, Sandra Najera of Honduras, Wilson Reyes Carranza and wife, Sandra Aguilar of Church Point, Mario Reyes Carranza and wife, Kimberly Sierra of Lafayette; two daughters, Suyapa Reyes Carranza of Honduras, and Miriam Escandon and husband, Carlos Escandon of Church Point; one step son, Alejandro Aldana and wife, Nely Olalde of Scott; several brothers and sisters; thirteen grandchildren.
Mr. Reyes Paz was preceded in death by his Parents, Donay Rene Reyes and Maria Elena Paz; one sister, Angela Trujillo; one brother, Medardo Reyes.
