A Memorial service will be held for Donald Lee Sonnier, Sr., 74, who died at 11:01 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2020 in Lafayette, LA.
Mr. Sonnier was born Dec. 3, 1945 in Crowley, LA to the late Wilson and Mary Hanks Sonnier. He was a Veteran of the United states Navy and served his country in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his Wife, Mary Sonnier of Crowley, LA; A daughter Ina Sonnier and her husband Tim of Palacios, TX; his son Donald L Sonnier, Jr of Palacios, TX; a stepson Danny Rankin of Crowley, LA; step-daughter Crystal Biscamp of Porter, TX; one sister Betty Sonnier of Rayne, LA; 16 grandchildren Crystal Rector, Timothy Martinez, Jr., Stephanie Constancio, Stacie Constancio, Gerry Constancio, Jr., Garon Sonnier, Tyler Seaman, Layla Martinez, Jessica Falcon, Ryan Lucio, Jennifer Sonnier, Brianna Rankin, Catherine Moerbe; Kelie Hunter; Johnathan Gatica, Hannah Guiterrez, Jorge Guiterrez and Jacob Biscamp all of Texas; 20 Great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters Shirley Conners and Emma (Carol) Trahan and a brother Bobby Sonnier.
