Obituary for Jackie Lynn Chiasson
Jackie Lynn Chiasson, age 60, passed away peacefully on July 28th, 2020 at Lafayette General Hospital. She was a long time resident of Crowley, LA.
She is survived by her mother Dianna Breaux; her step father, JD Breaux; two sisters, Jan Chiasson and Judy Phillips; her son, Casey Chiasson; a grandson, Luka Chiasson; a granddaughter, Piper Chiasson; two nieces, Priscilla Phillips and Amanda Hines; two nephews, Shane Phillips and Kelly Hoffpauir. She is predeceased by her father, Donald Chiasson; her grandmothers, Opal Mirgin and Anna Mae Falcon; her sister Jennie Marie Chiasson.
Her love for all animals was universal and she spent much of her time playing with and taking care of her 3 dogs. Jackie was a talented seamstress who had a knack for quilting and making scrap books. She was a hard worker who enjoyed growing a garden and cooking or canning her harvest. Her infectious laugh was unique and will be missed by all who knew her. A family service was held in Duson, LA on July 30, 2020.
