Obituary for John Junior Primeaux
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Immaculate Heart of Mary catholic Church for John J. Primeaux, 78, who died at 8:56 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Encore Nursing Home in Crowley.
Fr. Jason Vidrine, pastor of Immaculate heart of Mary, will celebrate the mass and the burial will follow in the Abshire Cemetery. Visitation may be observed on Monday August 3, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until service time. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Mr. Primeaux was born Oct. 5, 1941 in Crowley, LA to the late Dulva and Arthemise Hanks Primeaux. He worked as a carpenter most of his life. He was very active at Immaculate Heart of Mary and served as an Usher for many years.
He is survived by his 4 sons, David Primeaux of Georgia, Thomas Primeaux of Minden, LA, Todd Primeaux of Arkansas and Scott Primeaux of Crowley, LA; 2 sisters Oliva Evans of Moss Bluff and Rose Guidry of Jennings, LA.; 6 grandchildren David Broussard, Kady Primeaux, Tasia Maynard, Paytilyn Primeaux, Gabby Primeaux and Tatum Primeaux and 2 great grandchildren and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his son John (Tee) Clayton Primeaux; 4 brothers Aurelien, Valerien, Adam and Dulva Paul Primeaux and 3 sisters Olivia Bourque, Ida Primeaux and Agnes Mire.
