Obituary for Elsie Hebert (Abshire)
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Elsie A. Hebert, 78, who passed away at LCMC Health Touro Infirmary in New Orleans on Monday, August 3, 2020 at 1:25 P.M.
Pastor Jason Corder, Pastor of Church of Christ in Crowley will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Friday, August 7, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. Visitation will resume on Saturday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include one son, Charles Ray Abshire of New Iberia; two daughters, Stephanie and husband, Ronald Hanks of Crowley, Sherry Lynn Broussard of Rayne; one brother, Russell Abshire of Lafayette; six grandchildren, Chelsea Hanks, Derek Hanks, Chassidy Broussard, Jordy Stewart, Tyler Abshire and Charlie Abshire.
Ms. Hebert was preceded in death by one son, Donald Keith Stewart; one grandson, Michael Keith Hanks; her parents, Ellis and Gladys M. Abshire; two sisters, Nema and Lou.
