Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley, LA for Wilbert Joseph Broussard, Jr., 57, who died at 2:45 p.m. Sunday, October 18, 2020 at his residence in Morse, LA.
Rev. Burl Adams, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Church Point will officiate the services and the burial will follow in the Acadia Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation may be observed on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Mr. Broussard was born September 10, 1963 in Gueydan, LA to the late Wilbert, Sr. and Ethel Floyd Broussard. He worked in the oil field most of his life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and cooking with his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter Danielle Denise Broussard of Crowley, LA; a sister Rebecca Deville and her husband Kenneth of Crowley, LA; 2 brothers, Clay Broussard of Patterson, LA and Jason Broussard of Crowley, LA; 3 grandchildren, Ryan Robinson, Tyler Broussard and Reid Broussard all of Crowley, LA; 2 nephews Jay Rhodes and his wife Erin of Morgan City, LA and William Whitten of Katy, TX and a great niece Emmie Rhodes.
