Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2020 at the Duhon Funeral Home chapel of Rayne, LA for Ashley Nichole Sonnier, 31, who died at 4:22 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2020 in Lafayette, LA.
Rev. Burl Adams, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Church Point will celebrate the services and the burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation may be observed Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
She is survived by her companion Steven Mayfield of Crowley, LA; mother, Vickie M. Stolle and her husband Jason of Duson, LA; 2 daughters A’laisha Augustus of Mire, LA and Aeriona Sonnier of Mire, LA; a son Deston Mayfield of Mire, LA; 2 sisters, Stephanie Sonnier of Carencro, LA and Bridget Comeaux and her husband Demarcus of Scott, LA; her nanny Linda Touchette and her husband Alcia of Mire, LA; Her maternal grandmother Greta Richard of Rayne, LA and many loving Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father John Leonard Sonnier; Maternal grandfather Murphy Hebert and her aunt Pamela Church.
