A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for JoAnn Doucet Simon, 70, who died at 12:19 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2020 at her residence in Roberts Cove.
Mrs. Simon was born December 24, 1949 in Rayne, LA to the late Ivy and Ella Mae Patin Doucet.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years Clarence “Cotton” Simon of Roberts Cove; 2 sons, Craig Simon and his wife Jeanine of Iota, LA and Joey Simon and his wife Becky of Carencro, LA; a brother Darrell Doucet of Duson, LA; ten grandchildren, Payton Simon, Kimberly Simon, Nicholas Simon, Alyx Duhon, Austin Duhon, Amber Simon, Caleb Simon, Hannah Petitjean, Curtlynn Simon and Cailey Simon; six great grandchildren, Jett Matthew Petitjean, Ella Rose Petitjean and Alice Claire Petitjean, Leonardo Dorado, Samuel Simon and Annabelle Simon and her godchild, Matthew Todd Doucet.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ivy and Ella Mae Patin Doucet; her paternal grandparents Howard and Louise Guilbeau Doucet; Maternal Grandparents, Olide and Marie Alleman Patin and her nephew Michael Todd Doucet.
