Obituary for Melvin Adam Boudreaux

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 11:00 A. M. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Melvin A. Boudreaux, 91, who passed away at his home in Church Point surrounded by his family on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 10:06 A.M.
Père Rozas, from Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Old Cemetery in Church Point.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Monday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include three daughters, Robbie and husband, Don Cobb of Greenville, MS., Cathy and husband, Ricky Guidry of New Roads and Judy Boudreaux of Rayne; one son, Mark Boudreaux of Church Point; five grandchildren, Beau and wife, Jodi Guidry of Plaucheville, Alex and wife, Katelyn Guidry of New Roads, Dana Cobb of Church Point, Seth Boudreaux of Rayne, Zack Boudreaux of Mire; two great-grandchildren, Amelia and Emma Guidry.
Mr. Boudreaux was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Boudreaux; one son, Michael Boudreaux; his parents, Ulyesse and Onora C. Boudreaux; one brother and five sisters.
