Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the Duhon Funeral home chapel of Crowley, LA for Mary Clement Lapoint, 74, who died at 3:45 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2020 at Harbor Hospice in Lake Charles, LA.
Deacon Byrne Winn will officiate the funeral service and the burial will follow in the Istre Cemetery. Visitation may be observed from 4:00 p.m. Wednesday until 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Thursday until service time. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Jackie Heard and her husband Jeremy of Ragley, LA; 1 son, Danny Landry and his wife Celeste of Iowa; 1 sister, Rena Istre and her husband John of Mermentau, LA; 4 brothers, Walter Clement of Morse, Edwin Clement and his wife Rose of Morse, Wilbert Clement of Morse and Ernest Clement and his wife Junice of Lyons Point; 7 grandchildren, Jessica Trombly and her husband Troy, Andrew Landry and his wife Zaida, Nathan Landry, Brandon Landry and his wife Sara, Christopher Stewart and his wife Savannah, Derek Stewart and Eric Stewart; 8 great grandchildren Kylee, Laura, Clayton, Lily, Thorin, Rowan and Mia.
She was preceded in death by her parents Donacien and Anita Touchet Clement; her husband Clifford Lapoint; 2 brothers, Clarence Clement and Chester Clement.
