Obituary for Pamela Duplechin (Leger)
A Memorial Service will be held at a later day for “Bam Bam” Pamela L. Duplechin, 54, who passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 1:25 A. M. at Opelousas General Hospital in Opelousas.
Survivors include two daughters, Ashley Duplechin and fiancé, Darone Bernard of Lafayette, Chelsea Duplechin of Eunice; one step daughter, Krystah Melancon of Marksville; her companion, Norman “Butch” Frye, Jr. of Church Point; five brothers, James “Tony” and wife, Renee Leger of Church Point, Michael Leger of Opelousas, Bryan and wife, Liz Leger of Church Point, Harris Leger of New York, Kevin Leger of Church Point; eight grandchildren, Tasanee, Abrielle, Alayah, Nikko, Jayden, Jazalyn, Leron and Javon; several nieces and nephews.
Pam was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Duplechin; her parents, James O. and Delphina T. Leger; one brother, Myron Leger; one sister, Cyndi Charlotte; one nephew, Rusty James Leger; one great niece, Destiny Chambers.
