A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2020 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Harold Wayne Deshotel, 66, who died at 12:49 p.m. Wednesday, December 02, 2020 at his residence in Church Point, LA.
Fr. Broussard, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church will be officiating for the services. Visitation may be observed on Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until service time. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
Mr. Harold is survived by his wife of 30 years, Phyllis Frank Deshotel of Church Point; his daughter, Megan Deshotel Barousse and her husband Koby of Church Point; his son, Christopher Norris Deshotel and his wife, Allison of Cedar Park, TX; his mother, Jane C. Chiasson of Church Point; his sister, Bonita “Bonnie” Thibodeaux and her husband Wilson of Church Point; 3 brothers, Michael Randy Deshotel and his wife, Debra of Stevenville, Edward G. Terry and Danny Terry both of Toledo Bend and seven grandchildren, Jacob, Layla and Luke Deshotel and Aidan, Bella, Eli and Nash Barousse.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Felix Deshotel and a brother, Joseph Carole Deshotel.
