A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 21, 2020 at the St. Edmonds chapel in branch, LA for Lilly Guillory Guidry, 81, who died at 1:35 p.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in Opelousas, LA.
Fr. Paul Broussard will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Visitation may be observed on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Saint Edmonds Chapel in Branch, LA from 8:30 a.m. until service time. The Rosary will be prayed at 10:00 a.m. and the Burial will be in the Saint Edmonds Cemetery.
Lilly was born July 26, 1939 in Mallet, LA to the late Privat and Agnes Semien Guillory.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Christine Fontenot of Branch, LA and Mary Wanda Guidry and her fiancé, Michael Bellard of Church Point; 5 sons, Joseph Guidry, Jr and his wife, Betty of Rayne, LA, Michael Wayne Guidry and his wife, Virginia of Church Point, LA, Paul Edward Guidry and his wife, Donna of Branch, LA, Christopher Guidry and his wife, Renee` of Rayne, LA, and Larry James Guidry and his wife, Tori of Lafayette, LA; 2 brothers, Martin Guillory of Branch, LA and Kermit Guillory of Church Point, LA; 20 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Guidry, Sr.; 2 dughters Norma jean and Barbara Jean; 5 sisters and 4 brothers.
