A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in Lawtell for Cary James Babineaux, 54, who passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at 8:28 P.M. at Acadia St. Landry Hospital in Church Point.
Fr. Picard will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in St. Bridget’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Lawtell.
Survivors include one brother, Jimmy Babineaux of Gibson; two sisters, Kathy and husband, Raymond Lanclos of Opelousas, Ivy Soileau of Lawtell; one sister –in-law, Linda Babineaux of Lawtell; nieces and nephews Andrea and husband, Brett Mayeux, Robbie and wife, Jean Soileau, Melissa and husband, Myles Miller, Dru Babineaux and friend, Valerie, Nicole and husband, Louie Robinson, Jared and wife, Tiffany Babineaux, Caleb Babineaux, Danielle and husband, Chris Bertrand; many great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Babineaux was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Hassa Chapman Babineaux; one brother, Daniel Babineaux.
Pallbearers for the service will be Robbie Soileau, Jared Babineaux, Dru Babineaux, Trey Soileau, Tucker Miller, and Myles Miller. Honorary Pallbearers for the service will be Caleb Babineaux and Christian Falcon.
