Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2021 at the Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne, LA for Michael Credeur, 59, who died at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in Lafayette, LA.
Deacon Byrne Winn will officiate the funeral service and the burial will follow in the Saint Theresa Cemetery. Visitation may be observed from 10:00 a.m. Friday until 2:00 p.m.
He was survived by his companion of 38 years, Linda Lege of Lafayette, LA; 4 daughters, Michelle Benoit of Lafayette, LA, Belinda Richard of Breaux Bridge, LA, Jessica Lege of Lafayette, LA and Sonya Lege of TX; 2 sons, Anthony Lege of Carencro, LA and Christopher Lege of Cankton, LA; 2 sisters, Janelle Cormier of Rayne, LA and Judy Bailey of Crowley, LA; 1 brother, Donald Credeur of Rayne, LA; 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mary Lou Venable Credeur; 4 sisters, Thelma Credeur, Melissa Credeur, Jaqueline Credeur and Mary Nero and 1 grandson, Philip Benoit, III.
