Obituary for Johnny Lee Roche

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Johnny Lee Roche, 70, who died at 8:20 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2021 at his residence in Church Point, LA.
Deacon Denis Lacroix will conduct the funeral services and the burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery II. Visitation may be observed on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until service time. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening with a prayer service with Deacon Denis Lacroix.
Johnny was born June 24, 1950 in Abbeville, LA to the late Ray and Beulah Primeaux Roche. He served his country in the United States Coast Guard as a Merchant Marine. He worked most of his life in the oil field as a directional driller. He was a family man and loved all his “babies.”
He is survived by 2 daughters, Roxanne Leon and her husband Brian of Church Point and Denise Nero and her husband Aron of Rayne; 1 son, Shannon Roche and his wife Amanda of Rayne; 2 sisters, Betty Hanks Breaux and Linda Faye Breaux both of Rayne; 1 brother, Donald Ray Roche of Georgia; 8 grandchildren Brittany Claire Guillory, Kaylin Privat, Kourtney Credeur, Tori Nero, Cami Breaux, Logan Roche, Sebastian Roche and Harper Roche and 10 great grandchildren, Landon, Annalee, Jaxon, Addison, Sophie, Jake-Michael, Parker, Kash, Branson and Baby Borges on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother Frederick “Poncho” Roche.
