Obituary for Thomas Joseph Morgan Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Thomas “TJ” Joseph Morgan, Jr., 12, who died at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021 in Lafayette, LA.
Fr. Clint Trahan will celebrate the Mass and the burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation may be observed on Tuesday from 12 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until service time. The rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
TJ is survived by his parents Thomas and Kassandra Richard Morgan of Lyons Point; his sister Emma Morgan of Lyons Point; Maternal grandmother Yolande Seaux Richard of Crowley; Paternal grandparents Paul Alan and Geneva Guidry Morgan of Lyons Point; 5 aunts Susan Richard of Crowley, Vanessa Domingue (Danny) of Kaplan, Godmother Christine Uriegas (Max) of Crowley, Dana Woods (Mark) of Crowley and Christina Bonin (Turner) of Lyons Point; 2 uncles John Richard (Celeste) of Crowley Godfather Mason Morgan (Celeste) of Lyons Point and numerous loving cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Joseph “Uncle Joe” Richard and his uncle Wayne A Richard.
Pallbearers will be Wayne A Richard, II, Dale Everett, Owen Woods, Ryan Domingue, Mason Morgan, II, Jake Morgan, John P Richard and Jonathon Morgan. Honorary pallbearers are Wade Richard, Asher Daigle and Gracyn Gass.
The family would like to thank his aids from school Tammie Vincent and Keral Reggie, the nurses and staff at Acadia General and Women’s and Children’s and also Dr. Mazen Korab for their kindness and support.
