Obituary for Floyd Duhon
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel for Floyd Duhon, 93, who died at 2:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in Lafayette, LA.
Rev. Jason Corder, Pastor of Forest Park Church of Christ will celebrate the service and the burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation may be observed on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Floyd was born December 3, 1927 in Crowley, LA to the late Felician and Marie Boudreaux Duhon. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and proudly served his country during WWII.
He is survived by his wife Jo Anne Woolsey Duhon of Lafayette; 1 daughter Jo Lynne Gable of Lafayette; 2 grandchildren Jennifer Felts and her husband Clifton of Scott and Floyd Kent Gable and his wife Brooke of Youngsville and 4 great grandchildren Aiden and Ethan Felts and Pierce and Elise Gable.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Stanley Duhon.
