Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel of Crowley, LA for Addles Joseph Lemaire, 82, who died at 11:32 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021 in Crowley, LA.
Rev Gerard Morgan, associate pastor of Northside Assembly of God, will conduct the funeral service and the burial will follow in the Abshire cemetery. Visitation may be observed on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Atlas was born October 5, 1938 in Abbeville, LA to the late Etude and Fredia Mire Lemaire. He was a longtime janitor at Notre Dame High school.
He is survived by 2 daughters Debbie Loignon of Crowley and Sandy Richard of Gueydan; 3 sons Wesley Lemaire of Crowley, Terry Lemaire of TX and Randall Lemaire of Lafayette; ex-wife Sally Lemaire of Kaplan; stepson Jason Schexneider of Rayne; 19 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 3 daughters Tammy Cardenas, Jackie Lemaire and Susie Lemaire; 1 son Randy Lemaire and a sister Verdie Duhon.
