Obituary for Edith Credeur Seaux
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel of Rayne, LA for Edith Credeur Seaux, 80, who died at 11:55 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at her residence in Rayne, LA.
Deacon Denis Lacroix will conduct the funeral services and she will be buried at Saint Joseph Cemetery at a later date. Visitation may be observed on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time and the Rosary will be prayed at 12:30 p.m.
Mrs. Seaux was born June 4, 1940 in Boscoe, LA to the late Early and Olivia Lantier Credeur. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years Linton Joseph Seaux of Rayne, LA; 2 daughters Brenda Hebert and her husband Paul of Rayne and Agnes Bowlin and her husband Ralph of Marietta, GA; 2 sons Joseph Bott and his wife Wanda of Rayne, LA and Michael Bott and his wife JoElla of Holly beach; 1 brother Tony Credeur of Abbeville, LA; Sister-in-law Eva Champagne and her husband Jerry of Butte Larose 14 grandchildren Crystal, Jessica, Jacques, Paul, Jr., Aaron, Ben, Faith, Mika, Robert, Morgan, AJ, Thomas, Brittney and Alex; 31 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 daughters Jeanette Savoie and Earline Bott; 1 son Allen Bott; 2 brothers Johnny Credeur and Arnizeme “Zoro” Credeur; 2 grandchildren Glenn Bott and T-Donny Bott and 2 step children Yvonne Marie Geert and Kevin John Labove.
