Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne, La. for Gerald J. Alleman, 70, who passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 6:15 P.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette.
Deacon Cliff Tanner, from Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Scott will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Cemetery in Scott.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. A Rosary will be recited on Friday at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. Visitation will resume on Saturday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include his wife of fifty one years, Melissa T. Alleman of Duson; one son, Keith and wife, Jennifer D. Alleman of Duson; one daughter, Wendy and husband, Patrick Alleman of Duson; one brother, Burley and wife, Connie Alleman of Tulsa, OK; one sister, Barbara Gilbert of Duson; two grandchildren, Tabitha Alleman of Duson and Chase Alleman of Duson; four great-grandchildren, Adyson, Kennedi, Jaylee and Mia.
Mr. Alleman was preceded in death by his parents, Lovic and Marie T. Alleman.
Mr. Alleman retired from Cox Cable TV after 30 years of services.
