Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Ella Mae Thibodeaux, 80, who passed away at her home in Lafayette on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 2:25 P.M.
Deacon Denis LaCroix from St. Joseph Catholic Church will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Church New Cemetery.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Monday, May 31, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne. A Rosary will be recited on Monday at 6 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Tuesday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include one son, Johnny Thibodeaux of Lafayette; two grandson, Jeremy and wife April Thibodeaux of Lafayette, Bradley Thibodeaux of Ferriday; two great-granddaughters, Gabrielle and Gracie Thibodeaux of Lafayette.
Ms. Thibodeaux was preceded in death by her husband, Anatole Thibodeaux; one son, Emery Thibodeaux; her parents, Octave and Elia Robert; and one infant brother.
Pallbearers for the service will be Jeremy Thibodeaux, Johnny Thibodeaux, Brad Thibodeaux, Nick Thibodeaux, Dylan Bertrand and Jason Guidry.
