Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2021 at the Duhon Funeral Home chapel of Crowley, LA for Jeffrey Hayes, 53, who died at 10:21 a.m. Wednesday June 30, 2021 in Crowley, LA.
Rev. Jimmy Broussard will celebrate the funeral services and the burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation may be observed Friday, July 2, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Jeffery was born July 22, 1967 in Lafayette, LA to the late Valerie and Ida David Hayes. He owned and operated Hayes Portable Buildings in Crowley since 2007. He loved spending his spare time with his family and grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling and taking long Sunday drives.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Shiela Constantin Hayes of Crowley; 2 daughters, Hailee Hayes of Crowley and Aimee Hayes of Crowley; 4 sisters, Kathy Trahan of Crowley, Janice Hayes of Crowley, Becky Breaux of Rayne and Kim Sonnier of Crowley; 4 brothers, Hubert Hayes of Crowley, Valerie Hayes, JR of Crowley, Bobby Watzil of Gueydan and Tommy Hayes of Crowley and 2 grandchildren, Kaison Cashi and Aubree Hayes.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Brenda Simon and Helen Hayes and 2 brothers, Herbert Hayes and Greg Hayes.
