Obituary for Kenneth Rubin Cook
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crowley for Kenneth R. Cook, 79, who passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 11:15 P.M. at St. Patrick’s Hospital in Lake Charles.
Fr. Jonathan Janise, Pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crowley will be officiating for the services. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 5:00 P.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Monday at 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Survivors include his wife of fifty eight years, Dardean “ Mickie” Cook of Crowley; three sons, Kenneth and wife, Lynn Cook of Ragley, Mark Cook of Crowley and Christopher and wife, Sherry Hargrave of Crowley; two daughters, Toni LeDoux of Crowley and Theresa and husband, Ross Richard of Crowley; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his parents, Rubin and Ruby C. Cook; one sister, Rosa Lee Cook; two brothers, Travis and Willard Cook.
