A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Saint Joseph Catholic church for Betty Arceneaux Nero, 69, who died at 6:58 a.m. Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Ollie Steele Nursing Home.
Fr. Benjamin Pitre will celebrate the mass and the burial will follow in the Saint Joseph Cemetery. Visitation may be observed on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until service time. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday.
She is survived by 3 sons, Brian Nero and wife, Shonda of Church Point, Ronnie Nero and wife, Crystal of Estherwood and Donnie Nero and fiancé, Pam Douget of Scott; 1 sister, Sister Barbara Arceneaux of Baton Rouge; 5 grandchildren, Abbi Miller, Dylan Nero, Chloe Nero, Hunter Nero and Madison Nero.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Adeline Breaux Arceneaux.
