Obituary for Michael James Hoffpauir
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel of Crowley for Michael James Hoffpauir, 57, who died Sunday, May 1, 2022 at his residence in Lake Charles.
Rev. Jimmy Broussard will celebrate the funeral services and will follow with cremation. Visitation may be observed on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Michael was born July 29, 1964 in Crowley, LA to Karl and Theresa Bourque Hoffpauir. He was a veteran of the United States Army and proudly served his country during Desert Storm in Iraq.
He is survived by 1 daughter, Krystal Hoffpauir of Shreveport; 2 sons, Brandon Hoffpauir and his husband James of Des Moines, IA and Bryan Hoffpauir of Lafayette; 1 sister, Shelly Hoffpauir of Franklinton, LA; 3 brothers, Karl Hoffpauir, Jr. of New Orleans, Jimmy Hoffpauir of Lake Charles and Kenny Hoffpauir of Lake Charles; 2 grandchildren, Keaton Regan and Kavina Ward; goddaughter, Nicole Hoffpauir; nieces and nephews, Dustin, Chase and Kaitlyn Hoffpauir and 1 great niece, Harper Hoffpauir.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl Hoffpauir and Theresa Bourque Hoffpauir.
