Obituary for Billie Jane Larriviere (Trahan)
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2022 at The Point Church for Billie Jane Trahan Larriviere, 80, who died at 9:31 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at The Ellington in Rayne, LA.
Rev. Ricki Pavlu and Rev. Jared Pavlu will concelebrate the funeral services. All visitations will be held at The Point Church in Church Point and will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart new Cemetery.
Mrs. Larriviere was born January 14, 1942 in Ville Platte. She was a 1959 graduate of Opelousas High School. She worked for Acadia St. Landry hospital as a secretary for most of her life. She loved her family and friends and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, David Kenneth Larriviere of Church Point; 2 daughters, Stephanie Ann Stutes of Lafayette and Jacqueline Rae Stewart and her husband Shane of Brazoria, Texas; 1 son, Bryan Larriviere of Crowley; 1 brother, Floyd Trahan of Ville Platte; 7 grandchildren, Stefan Stutes, Ali Larriviere, Britney Larriviere and her fiancé Jake, Alyssia Crunk and her fiancé Kolby, Bethany Crunk and her fiancé Dylan, Ashlynn Crunk and Cayden Stewart and seven great grandchildren, Landon Stutes, Grahm Waller, Lily Daigle, Luna Daigle, Cheston Stewart, Kazden Stewart, Greysen Shepard, Silas Shepard, A.J. Crunk and Nova Shepard.
