Obituary for Daraleen Welch (Trahan)
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Northside Assembly of God Acadiana cathedral for Daraleen Trahan Welch, 65, who died at 7:12 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2022 in Crowley.
Pastor Johnny Ray Fontenot will celebrate the services and the visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Daraleen was born November 24, 1956 in Crowley to Angelas Trahan and Lillie Mae Hollier. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved the New Orleans Saints!
She is proceeded in death by her husband Melvin J. Welch, son Chad B. Trahan, parents Angelas Trahan and Lillie Mae Hollier, sister Linda Abshire, and brother Gregory Bertrand Sr., all of Crowley.
She is survived by her two sons and step-daughter, Charles Ray Trahan of Tennesse, Thaddius Regan of Gueydan, and Marsha Richard and husband Duane of Crowley: three sisters, Brenda Romero, Roxanna Huval and husband Bryan, and Cynthia Trahan, all of Crowley: six brothers, Charles Trahan and wife Debra of Crowley, Randall Trahan and wife Tamica of Crowley, Brian Hollier of Crowley, David Trahan and wife Roxanne of Milton, Scotty Trahan and wife Nancy of Crowley, and Timothy Trahan of Crowley: sixteen grandchildren, Cameron Trahan, Klynn Trahan, Kenzie Trahan, Kathryn Trahan, Bailey Trahan, Bralynn Williams, Heaven Doucet, Mia Trahan, Brooklyn Trahan, Kaysha Regan, Aidyn Regan, Acetyn Regan, Táya Regan, Travis Richard, Jenna Richard, Brendan Richard: and ten great-grandchildren, Ophelia Ortego, Autumn Barrios, Alayah Duplechin, Makayla Lebouef, Abel Doucet, Jaxston Doucet, Jolie Doucet, Kayden Richard, Braison Richard, and Landon Richard.
