Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel of Crowley for Gary “Lil Gary” Wayne Joseph Sheppard, 19, who died at 3:30 p.m. Monday, July 4, 2022 in Crowley.
Rev. Gerard Morgan, Associate Pastor of Northside Assembly of God will officiate the funeral services. Visitation may be observed on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. Thursday until 10:00 p.m. Thursday and 8:00 a.m. Friday until service time.
He is survived by his mother Crystal Miller Hollier and her husband Blake of Crowley; father, Gary Sheppard of Crowley; 2 sisters, Heaven Sheppard and Madelyn Sheppard of Crowley; brother, Gaven Sheppard of Crowley; Maternal Grandmother, Melinda Miller of Rayne; Maternal Grandfather, Sammy Eskew of Rayne; Maternal grandparents, Michael and Dianna Miller of Braselton, GA; Paternal Grandparents, Onezia Martin of Crowley; 2 aunts, Katie Miller of Crowley, Ashley Miller of Crowley and 2 uncles, Jessie Miller of Crowley and Roland Broussard, Jr. of Crowley and 12 loving cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Roland Broussard, Sr. and an aunt, Baretta Broussard.
