Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point for Ramona H. Matte, 66, who passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022 at 11:20 A.M. at her daughter’s home in Church Point.

Survivors include her husband, James Randy Matte of Church Point; one daughter, Stacy Olivier of Church Point; two sons, Charlie and wife, Stephanie Hunt of Lafayette, Steven Matte of Church Point; one step-daughter, Renee and husband, Lee Harwell of North Dakota; four step-sons, James Matte, Jr. of Carencro, Jared Matte of Baton Rouge, Michael and wife, Ranie Matte of Church Point, and Terrance Matte of Carencro; one sister, Cheryl and husband, Walter Havard of Natchez, MS; two brothers, Dennis and wife, Mona Hendricks of Sunset, Hugh and wife, Dena Hendricks of Alexandria; four grandchildren, Cypress, Brandon, Ava, and Raegan.

Ramona was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Paislea Hunt; her parents, Charles Hendricks and Bobbie Garner.
